GST Network (GSTN) has made geocoding functionality, which converts an address or description of a location into geographic coordinates, available for all states and Union Territories. This comes amid concerns over fake registrations to claim input tax credits under the GST regime. GSTN said it has already geocoded 1.8 crore addresses of registered businesses.
