South Africa have added left-arm spin bowling all-rounder George Linde, as backup for Aiden Markram, who injured his hamstring before their Champions Trophy 2025 semi-final against New Zealand. Linde joins as a travelling reserve and will replace Markram only if ruled out. South Africa might use him if they reach the final, which is scheduled in Dubai on March 9.
