German air taxi startup Lilium, which is developing an on-demand flying mobility service, has completed the first phase of flight testing its five-seater Lilium Jet. It said the aircraft prototype, powered by 36 all-electric engines, has achieved a speed of over 100 km/hr. Lilium released a video of the jet demonstrating a successful transition from vertical flight to horizontal flight.
