German air taxi startup Lilium has closed a funding round of over $240 million. The latest investment was led by Tencent with participation from other existing investors. Lilium plans to use the funds to keep developing its all-electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft and start preparations for serial production at its manufacturing facilities, for an expected launch in 2025.
