Driven by high energy prices, German inflation reached double digits for the first time in more than 20 years, according to reports. The Federal Statistics Office on Thursday said that consumer prices in Germany increased to 10.9% in September. Reportedly, this is more than the 10.2% economists in a Bloomberg survey had estimated.
