German traveller David Nebel praised India's public healthcare after receiving free treatment at a government hospital in Surat despite being a foreigner. Doctors also conducted precautionary malaria and dengue tests. Nebel called the experience "top-notch", saying appointments in Germany take months. He had earlier received free rabies treatment at another Indian govt hospital after a dog bite.
