Germany recorded over one lakh new COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours. The country saw 1,12,323 cases and 239 fatalities, its public health agency said on Wednesday. The weekly incidence rate climbed to 584.4 infections per 1,00,000 people, it added. Germany has imposed stricter curbs including restricting gatherings in view of COVID-19 surge.
