Former Liverpool player Fernando Torres revealed on Thursday that the Reds skipper Steven Gerrard convinced him to make his move to Chelsea. "Even when I was leaving Liverpool he told me 'go, think about yourself. Do what's best for you - you've nothing to prove'", he said. Gerrard himself had almost joined Chelsea in 2005, after winning the Champions League.
