Gujarat Giants (GG) defeated UP Warriorz (UPW) by 10 runs in their WPL 2026 opener in Navi Mumbai on Saturday. GG posted 207-4 in their 20 overs, with captain Ashleigh Gardner scoring 65(41). In reply, UPW were restricted to 197-8, with Phoebe Litchfield's 78(40) going in vain. Notably, this was GG's fourth straight win over UPW in the league.
