Ex-Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani took to Facebook to share a video message from the UAE. He said that had he stayed in Afghanistan, he would have been hanged by Taliban in front of the eyes of the people of Afghanistan. Taliban forces had hanged former Afghan President Mohammad Najibullah the last time they took control of the country in 1996.
