Veteran ghazal and playback singer Pankaj Udhas passed away at the age of 72 on Monday after a prolonged illness. His death was confirmed by his daughter Nayaab Udhas through an Instagram post. Pankaj Udhas was awarded Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian award in the year 2006.
