To improve Uttar Pradesh's connectivity and infrastructure, the Ghaziabad-Kanpur Expressway is being developed as part of the Green Highway Policy. The upcoming expressway will reduce travel time between Ghaziabad and Kanpur from the current eight hours to just five hours upon completion. It will connect Ghaziabad and Kanpur to Hapur, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Kasganj, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, and Unnao.
