Former India wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik said Shubman Gill must focus on batting and score runs to earn respect in the dressing room. "In SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia) countries, as an Indian batter, Gill's average isn't something he's going to be proud of," Karthik added. Gill will make his debut as Test captain in India-England Test series.
