Girl born in a Maharashtra family after 200 years, brought home in chariot

A girl has been born in a family in Maharashtra’s Beed district after around 200 years. The newborn has been named Gargi and was brought home along with her mother in a chariot, accompanied by drums, music and dance. "People usually wish for a son, but the feeling and joy of having a daughter is different," Gargi's father said.
