Girls with type 1 diabetes to get free insulin in Gandhinagar

The government has established an integrated system in the Gandhinagar parliamentary constituency to provide lifelong essential insulin to children aged 0 to 18 with Type-1 juvenile diabetes. The programme covers screening, diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and follow-up, with the stated aim of reducing families' financial burden and ensuring continued access to essential insulin.
