Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) founder and former MP, MVVS Murthy, died aged 80 in a road accident in the US on Tuesday. Murthy and three others were killed in a car-truck collision near Alaska in the US, where he had gone to attend GITAM Alumni meet on October 6. Murthy was a sitting MLC in Andhra Pradesh.
