The founders of GitHub, the coding platform acquired by Microsoft for $7.5 billion, will own about 10 times more shares than Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, according to Bloomberg. The all-stock deal is equivalent to 73.8 million shares, half of which would pass to GitHub's three founders. Among insiders, only Microsoft Co-founder Bill Gates' holding would exceed that of GitHub founders.
