The Maharashtra government has informed the Bombay HC that providing additional reservations to transgenders in education and government jobs would be difficult. The court was hearing a petition filed by Vinayak Kashid, seeking a modification to the advertisement issued by MahaTransco in May this year for mass recruitment to include transgenders.
