Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, while addressing the closing ceremony of Gorakhpur Festival on Tuesday, advised parents not to hand smartphones to toddlers, saying it's a "crime". He said that children's early exposure to screens could make them stubborn and have adverse psychological effects, including depression. CM also urged people to stop using phones while driving to avoid road accidents.
