Chinese pharma major Fosun-promoted Gland Pharma's share price surged around 45.6% to ₹2184 apiece from its initial public offering (IPO) issue price of ₹1,500. The Hyderabad-based company also gained ₹11,171 crore in market capitalisation since its debut. The nearly ₹6,500-crore IPO of Gland Pharma that opened on November 9 was the biggest IPO ever by an Indian pharma firm.
