Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has been named the captain of Kings XI Punjab for the upcoming edition of the IPL, replacing Murali Vijay, who captained the side last season. Maxwell, who represented Delhi Daredevils in his first IPL season in 2012, joined Punjab in 2015. He was the most expensive buy of IPL 2013, being bought by Mumbai Indians.
