GMRL urges GMDA to expedite forest land transfer for Sector 10 Metro

GMRL has written to GMDA seeking urgent transfer of 0.92 hectares of forest land for Gurugram's Sector 10 metro station. The forest department has agreed, contingent on twice the area for compensatory afforestation, but GMDA is yet to identify the land. GMDA has asked the deputy commissioner to identify 2 hectares to unblock approval.
