The Goa nightclub, where fire broke out and claimed 25 lives, is located near the backwaters of Arpora River and has a narrow entry and exit. It is connected to main road through narrow lanes. Due to this, fire engines could not reach the club and had to be parked about 400 metres away which delayed firefighting exercise.
