Goa's tourism boom fuels youth jobs and entrepreneurship

With over 1 crore tourist arrivals in 2025, Goa's tourism sector — contributing 16–17% to the state's economy — is generating livelihoods beyond traditional jobs. From tea stalls and handicraft shops to hospitality careers, locals are turning skills into businesses. IHCL also plans a skill development centre for Class 10–12 graduates to make them employment-ready.
