India aims to surpass China in mobile manufacturing with production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme attracting global majors in this segment, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said. "That's my goal and I am very clearly defining it," he added. The government is looking to make India a hub of other electronic products as well with the PLI scheme's expansion to other sectors.
