God, show mercy: Mother of ex-Navy officer as she seeks son's return from Qatar

The 88-year-old Pramodini Tiwary, mother of ex-Indian Navy officer Commander Purnendu Tiwary, has appealed for his return from Qatar. "I have only one prayer: that God show mercy on my son, end his suffering and bring him safely home," she said. Purnendu was among eight Navy personnel detained in Qatar in 2022 in an espionage case.
