Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma kidnapped and physically assaulted producer Shyam Sunder Dey for money, claimed Dey's wife in an FIR. They allegedly abducted Dey from June 1-4. Days later, Puja wrote, "Going through toughest time of our lives, those who are standing by us, we'll be forever grateful...Those who believe in lies spread against us god bless them."
