The Krishna and the Godavari rivers will be formally interlinked on Wednesday in a programme to be presided over by Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu. This linkage, a first of its kind, has been made possible by the ‘Pattiseema’ lift irrigation scheme on Godavari river at Pattisam village in West Godavari district.
