American actor Abe Vigoda, known best for his role of Salvatore Tessio in the film 'The Godfather', died aged 94 in New Jersey on Tuesday. He passed away in his sleep, the actor's daughter said. The actor also starred in the sitcom 'Barney Miller', between February 1977 to June 1978. He was seen last in 'The Unknown Trilogy' (2008).
