Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday alleged that Assam Congress president Gaurav Gogoi was trained by Pakistani authorities during a visit to the neighbouring country in 2013. He also claimed that Gogoi’s British wife, Elizabeth Colburn, worked for Pakistani agent Tauqeer Sheikh, a former adviser to Pakistan’s Planning Commission. Sarma urged the Union Home Ministry to probe the matter.
