Gold and silver prices surged for the third straight day on Wednesday to hit two-week highs in India, as per India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) data. While 999 purity gold rose to a peak of ₹1,45,283 per 10 gm, 999 purity silver jumped to ₹2,25,460 per kg. As per MCX, gold futures with August expiry jumped 2.12%.
