Gold and silver prices jumped to hit fresh record highs on Monday, driven by global markets' expectations over US Federal Reserve rate cuts and the Indian rupee's depreciation. As per the MCX website, gold futures with an October expiry date surged to ₹1,15,253 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, silver futures with a December expiry date peaked at ₹1,44,179 per kg.
