Gold, silver prices fall on MCX

Gold futures for the October expiry fell around 2% to ₹1,48,170 per 10 grams in early trade on Monday, according to Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) data. Silver futures for the December expiry also declined around 2% to ₹2,29,080 per kg. Meanwhile, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,48,910 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,36,501 per 10 grams, Livemint reported.
