Gold, Silver prices rise on August 18

Gold and silver prices edged higher in India on August 18, extending their strong year-long rally. At the India level, 24K gold stood at ₹1,56,210 per 10 grams, while 22K gold was at ₹1,43,193. Silver 999 fine was priced at ₹2,39,110 per kg. Chennai recorded the highest rates among major metros, with investors and buyers closely tracking prices.
