The Economic Survey said gold and silver prices are likely to continue surging unless trade wars are resolved. The price of 24-carat gold is currently around ₹1,78,850 per 10 grams, while silver is priced around ₹4 lakh per kg. "Some commentators feel that the torrid pace set by gold and silver in 2025 may not be sustained," the Survey noted.
