RBI has announced a premature redemption price of ₹15,512 for Sovereign Gold Bonds 2021-22 Series III, issued on June 8, 2021. Investors who bought the bonds online at around ₹4,839 per unit yielded a return of about 220%. Meanwhile, the redemption price translates into a gain of about 217% for offline investors who purchased the bonds at ₹4,889 per unit.
