Gold prices have surged more than 200% since Akshaya Tritiya in 2015, as per Ventura. The 24-carat gold was worth around ₹26,936 per 10 grams in 2015, compared to its current ₹95,000 level. Gold, considered a safe-haven asset, has given over 30% return in the last one year as geopolitical tensions and economic uncertainty drove people towards the precious metal.
