Canada Police has said a large portion of gold, worth over CA$20 million, stolen in the country's biggest heist is likely in India or Dubai. Over 6,000 gold bars were stolen from Toronto airport in 2023. "[In India or Dubai] you can take gold with serial numbers...and they'll still honour it and melt it," CBC News reported citing an investigator.
