Gold mine collapse in Sudan kills 11

A gold mine shaft collapsed in northeastern Sudan, killing 11 miners and injuring 30 others. A search operation is underway to rescue those trapped under the debris. The collapse marks the second such incident at an informal gold mine in Sudan within a week. The latest incident occurred in Oni, a remote area in the northeastern Red Sea state.
