Gold prices cool down in India after rising ₹1,800 in a single day

The price of gold cooled down in India as it fell by ₹300 per 10 grams on Wednesday, closing at ₹1,53,868 per 10 grams, as per IBJA data. Gold prices had jumped by ₹1,804 to a high of ₹1,54,167 per 10 grams on Monday before declining again. Silver fell to ₹2,29,225 per kilogram on Wednesday, its lowest since August 7.
