Indian retail prices of gold and silver saw massive jumps on Monday as rising tensions borne of the Middle East war strengthened the precious metals' positions as safe haven assets. Gold prices jumped ₹8,374/10 grams in just one day to touch ₹1,67,471/10 grams. Meanwhile, silver prices saw a bigger jump, rising ₹23,148/kg from ₹2,66,700/kg on Friday to ₹2,89,848/kg on Monday.
