Gold prices see sharp jump in India

Gold prices saw a sharp rise on Friday, jumping ₹1,900 to hit ₹1.53 lakh per 10 grams, IBJA reported. Silver also joined the rebound, climbing ₹7,300 to trade at ₹2.36 lakh per kilogram, a day after ending flat at ₹2.22 lakh per kilogram. The rise in gold and silver prices followed a recent sell-off and a drop in oil prices.
