One of the largest banks in the US, Goldman Sachs, has fired its Indian-origin Global Head of Transaction Banking Hari Moorthy over compliance lapses, Bloomberg reported. Goldman fired several leaders of the unit, who communicated on unauthorised channels and didn't comply with an internal review. Goldman's treasurer Philip Berlinski will take over the day-to-day management of the unit.
