Goldman Sachs ordered to pay male banker ₹18.5 crore for sex discrimination, unfair dismissal

Goldman Sachs has been ordered to pay ex-employee Jonathan Reeves £1.45 million (₹18.5 crore) after a London tribunal found he faced sex discrimination and unfair dismissal. Reeves lost his job while he was on six months of parental leave in 2022. The payment covers his lost salary, emotional distress and damage to his chances of finding another banking job again.
