Anthropic has announced it's expanding its partnership with Google to include up to one million of the tech giant's specialised AI chips, in a deal worth tens of billions of dollars. The deal is "expected to bring well over a gigawatt of capacity online in 2026," Anthropic said. As per experts, 1 gigawatt of compute can cost around $50 billion.
