Google has published instructions on how businesses can update their profiles and mark themselves as "temporarily closed" on Maps and Search. Google My Business owners can find the feature under "Close the business on Google" in the menu. The section will show three options to the users namely, "Mark as temporarily close", "Mark as permanently closed" and "Remove listing".
