Google on Wednesday announced a new Virtual Reality (VR) hardware and software platform called the Daydream, built on top of the upcoming Android N. The company said that Daydream-ready phones, along with VR viewers and motion controllers, will be available later in the year. Google also announced eight hardware partners including Samsung, HTC and LG, that will make Daydream-ready phones.
