Google has launched a campaign to pressure Apple into adopting RCS, a next-generation standard for text messaging. Google has asked Apple to "fix texting" between iPhone and Android devices, citing blurry videos, missing read receipts, and no texting over Wi-Fi. It has criticised the green-coloured bubbles for chats on iPhones with Android devices, saying it makes texts difficult to read.
