Google blocks terms linked to hate speech from YouTube ad targeting

Google has blocked several terms associated with hate speech from being used as ad keywords on YouTube videos. This follows The Markup's report, which found advertisers could search for terms like "white lives matter" when deciding where to place ads. Google was also reportedly blocking advertisers from using terms like "Black Lives Matter" to find videos to run ads against.
