A Google Chrome spyware effort attacked users via 32 million extension downloads, Awake Security said. Most of the extensions offered to warn users about questionable websites or convert file format. However, they leaked browsing history and data that provided credentials for access to internal business tools. Google said it removed over 70 of the malicious add-ons from its Chrome store.
